Mick Sowry

Entrevista con Mick Sowry, realizador de una de las películas de surf más originales que se han hecho en los últimos años. Se trata de Música Súrfica, y narra la aventura de diferentes surfistas intentando surfear tablas sin quillas al son de música clásica. Mick tiene 57 años, vive en Melbourne, lleva toda la vida surfeando, le gustan las olas grandes y ha trabajado en el mundo de la publicidad durante casi toda su vida. Música Súrfica es su primera – y hasta ahora única- película de surf y fue muy galardonada en diferentes festivales de cine de surf de todo el mundo. Aprovechando mi estancia en Melbourne quedé con Mick para tomar un café y charlar con él, pues aunque nos conocíamos por email desde hace tiempo, nunca habíamos coincidido.
