Los 14 y pico kilómetros de Bab el-Zakat (nombre árabe del estrecho de Gibraltar y que significa “Puerta de la Caridad”) nos separan de Marruecos y de sus olas. Dejando de lado su situación política y social (un comentario que, imagino, también harían de España unos 30 y pico años atrás) Marruecos ocupa un lugar especial en la mitología del surf europeo. Es nuestra Baja California: points de derechas, clima cálido, vegetación escasa en el sur y, excepto en Taghazout, poca gente en el agua.
