Godard Essentials

The Surf / The Sand / The Land.

The editing brand The Fishbone Project, specialized in surfing books, publishes Godard Essentials - The Surf / The Sand / The Land.

After performing in the market with the launch of his first book, Cosas que tu shaper nunca te dice, a translation of the original book of Californian shaper Bob Smith, Basics of Surfboard Design, The Fishbone Project presents its second new editorial Godard Essentials - The Surf / The Sand / The Land.

In this case, the editorial changes radically registration and offers one of the few, if not the only, book of surf painting. Hardcover with 142 pages in full color, and with a foreword by Dídac Piquer, shaper and founder of Montjuïch Surfboards, Godard Essentials - The Surf / The Sand / The Land is a compendium of the pictorial work of Josep Maria Jodar , known as "Godard", a small Mediterranean maestro who captures the scenes and situations surrounding the world of surfing so unique, with an aesthetic that recalls, according to some critics, the work of Hopper and Antonio Lopez, the great master of contemporary realism.

Inspired by California's golden era of surf, the work of Godard never leaves indifferent. Timeless and eternal surfing in front of our very eyes.
