Billabong Mundaka Challenge 2012

Arranca el Billabong Mundaka Challenge. Nuevo campeonato invitacional que comienza su periodo de espera el 15 de enero y se extiende hasta el 30 de marzo. El evento se realizará en cuatro horas en una sola jornada. Contará con la participación de 18 surfistas, 6 internacionales, 6 europeos y 6 locales: Aritz Aranburu, Iker Fuentes, Hodei Collazo, Eneko Acero, Iñaki Urkidi (por el club de Mundaka) y el surfista que resulte ganador del campeonato Mundaka Online. Se repartirán 25.000 euros en premios. Shane Dorian, Occy, Bruce Irons, Rob Machado y Luke Egan son algunos de los invitados.
Ganará el mejor tubo y el tamaño mínimo requerido para que se convoque la prueba tiene que ser de 6 a 8 pies.
